Solid Forest at LakTis: Technical Rigor for Dairy Decarbonization
LakTis is the strategic network that drives the sustainability of the dairy sector, connecting farms and innovation to ensure its future viability. The project seeks to go beyond punctual measurement, becoming a space for training, advice, and knowledge transfer to establish a Long-Term National Strategy
Our Role: Technical Guarantee and Expert Network
At Solid Forest, with more than 15 years of experience as an expert consultant, we are a key piece in the technical execution of the project. We collaborate directly with AGACA, providing the calculation software and specialized support so that its technicians can accurately measure the carbon footprint on farms.
Our participation contributes directly to the core objectives of LakTis:
- Connection with the Farmer: We act as a bridge to bring the most technical aspect of emissions analysis closer to the reality of day-to-day life on the farm. We make it easier for the farmer to understand their data, transforming complex metrics into useful information for the sustainable management of their operation.
- Standardization and Science: We provide technological tools that allow measuring uniformly and under scientific criteria, ensuring that the advice to farmers is based on rigorous and non-commercial data.
- Optimization of Methodologies: LakTis is a meeting point between technicians that allows us to identify weaknesses and enhance the strengths of emissions calculation. This network of technical collaboration is vital to adapt mitigation strategies to the productive reality of the farms.
- Knowledge Transfer: We contribute our experience in carbon farming and circular bioeconomy models for the creation of good practice manuals and strategic guides for authorities and professionals in the sector.
As technological partners of organizations such as Central Lechera Asturiana, Capsa Food, Clun, and AGACA, at Solid Forest we help to weave the network of knowledge that will allow the dairy sector to lead the transition towards climate neutrality from the territory.
