Air.e LCA version 3.21 is now available, an update that incorporates Ecoinvent 3.12 and adds significant improvements in performance, usability, and reporting capabilities.
Increased Speed, More Accuracy, and a New Search Engine
Air.e LCA has established itself as one of the fastest LCA software solutions on the market, with real-time calculations even for complex projects. This new version integrates an optimized search engine that significantly increases speed when navigating the database, especially when working with Ecoinvent:
- Virtually instantaneous results, even for searches with thousands of entries.
- Simultaneous search by names, synonyms, and tags, streamlining the location of the appropriate dataset.
- Display of images and metadata for those Ecoinvent datasets that include them.
New Reporting Capabilities: Complete Inventories and Data Ready for Dashboard Creation
Version 3.21 significantly expands export possibilities. With the “CSV Detail” function, it is now possible to generate—with a single click—a file that includes:
- Detailed results for each project
- Activity data for each input
- Emission factors and datasets used
- Allocations, stages, and sections
- Complete names, descriptions, and metadata
This format not only facilitates the preparation of Inventory Reports for Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and external verification processes, but also offers a clean, structured dataset ready to be integrated directly into tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Google Looker Studio.
